Consultation & Reviews

The SCSBC team is available to answer questions by phone or email, and more structured or longer-term help may be arranged upon request either for individual school communities or combined groups.

Topics can be tailored to fit your school community's needs, such as:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Capital Campaigns
  • Planned Giving
  • Fundraising Initiatives

Our Development Review is an extensive self-assessment/ diagnostic tool for development directors, assistants, principals and chairpersons/other committee members. Areas of review:

  • Evaluate current financial and development policies, practices and plans
  • Identify all the areas where improvements are essential, needed or desirable 
  • Identify available sources of expertise and resources
  • Prioritize actions and develop a plan to achieve change in the areas you identify as most significant.

Questionnaires are completed by board members, development committee members, principal, teachers, development staff and parents. Data is compiled by SCSBC staff, a report is issued to the school community, and an in-service is held to work through results.
