We at the SCSBC want to ensure the health and growth of Christian education in our member schools and beyond.
Leadership & Government Relations: Perhaps the most important task we have is that of equipping school leaders: board members, committee members, and administrative team members (principals, vice/assistant principals and coordinators)
- vision setting/board governance workshops.
- handbooks and policy papers for school use.
- school leadership reviews.
- an advocate for independent schools in BC and member of FISA.
- relationship with the Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools (BC).

Learning: We assist in encouraging and shaping Christian education that extends from a biblical framework.

- workshops and focus group meetings for Christian curriculum and pedagogy.
- advice regarding Ministry of Education curriculum requirements.

Teachers | Educational Support
Finance: We want to promote sound financial practice.
- annual compensation report.
- strategic planning, budgeting, charitable tax receipting.
- assistance working with CRA on receipting, accounting and grant applications.
